This pattern collection contains nine complete patterns of ...

Fantasy Flowers

These patterns are of some more exotic flowers making a more fantastical card.

  1. This pink fantasy flower is traced with red or pink ink, then painted with the same ink. The design is set off by a very basic grid pattern and some embossed semi-circles around the edge.
  2. These flowers in the window are separate embellishments , attached with silicone glue. The curtain is embossed to give the effect of folds and a grid is used in the lace border on the curtains. The semi-circle tool is used to perforate the border.
  3. These fantasy lilies give good practice in embossing. The border uses the heart tool and the whole thing is finished off with gold dots on the petals, made with a gel pen.
  4. More separate embellishments on this card. The vine is embossed and then coloured on the reverse with blendable pencil. The border is made with the semi-circle and star tool.
  5. If you enjoy embossing you'll like this one! Gold pen is used to create the embellishments on the trailing vines.
  6. Bright red tulips frame elegant leaves created with the semi-circle tool.
  7. The stylised petunias on this card were originally designed to give practise in painting with inks, but they could also be coloured with blendable pencils.  Instructions for painting are given with the pattern.
  8. This fantasy orchid is embossed, then coloured on the reverse with blendable pencils. The centres of each petal are filled with a fine grid. The double border is made with the Pergamano semi-circle tool and a cutting diagram is included on the pattern.
  9. An 'amazing magnolia' created in whitework, with gold stamens. The border is perforated with the moon and almond tools.
